The Rapture

I know the Rapture doesn’t seem feasible, but even imagining *what if* the world were to come to an end could and should make us treat one another better, compel us to fulfill our fantasies, dreams, and life goals, and focus on what’s important, like bonding with our parents and children.

Or, does constantly thinking the end could be nigh make us say, ‘Who gives a fuck?’ and plow ahead narcissistically, letting competition and survival drive our actions and mannerisms?

Gorgeous Photo! I think the former but when I am down I think the latter. Either way, end of world or not, awareness of one’s immortality is important, no?
